Tucan (“the app”, “we”) is a minimalist habit tracker for iOS. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it to the minimum needed to run the app.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and, if provided, your name, to create and secure your account. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email.
• Habit data. The habits you create (names, icons, colours, schedules) and the days you mark them complete.
• Subscription status. Whether you have an active Tucan Pro subscription.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or health data. We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics, or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored in our backend provided by Supabase (a Postgres database protected with row-level security) and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your habits are private to your account.

Third-party services

• Supabase — database, authentication and storage.
• Google / Apple — sign-in (authentication only).
• Apple & RevenueCat — to process and validate subscriptions. We never receive your card details; payments are handled by Apple.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, habits and completion history from our database. You may also email us to request deletion.

Children

Tucan is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
